Food and Ag Councilは、Greater Sacramento Economic Council理事会の戦略的リーダーシップ・グループとして、地域の農業における雇用創出と投資を促進するための組織の役割と責任を明確にしている。
尊敬すべき業界の専門家で構成されるフード＆アグ・カウンシル：
- 食品と農業技術のハブとしての地域の位置づけを中心に、資産とリソースを調整するために業界のリーダーを関与させる、
- 食品および農業技術に関する政策やイニシアチブをめぐってリーダーシップを発揮し、クラスターの発展を促進する。
- 市場のための新しい資本源を特定し、業界の投資家やイノベーターとのパートナー関係を管理する。
