Sierra College Sierra College’s industry-leading mechatronics technology and advanced manufacturing programs prepare students for positions in businesses and industries that manufacture, utilize or repair equipment incorporating electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and programming. Sierra College has partnerships with Bosch to prepare students to work in its silicon carbide chip fab and Siemens to support welding at its railcar manufacturing facility in Sacramento.

Students in these programs participate in a mixture of technical and classroom courses, preparing them to work in multiple fields such as robotics, fiber optics, programmable interface controllers and stamp microcontrollers. American River College is an official NARTE (National Association of Radio and Television Engineers) Federal Communication Commission (FCC) test site.

Ansync Labs is a multi-functional manufacturing, design and prototyping company that helps companies develop and test their products in small batches across industries including healthcare, semiconductor, IoT, automotive and defense. Ansync Labs’ equipment can manufacture and develop PCB products, flat and curved LED displays, machined hardware products and more.
