The Lab@AgStart celebrated the grand opening of its new $1.5 million facility, which includes coworking space for startups, a wet chemistry lab and the Raley’s Food Lab, a facility that will allow startups to experiment on new food products with ingredients they develop.

We grew up in this region and have been living and working here for most of our lives. We enjoy balanced lifestyles and love to spend time outside. The Sacramento area, with its close access to the mountains and ocean, really couldn’t be a better place to work, play and grow.

Gemini Bio is a leading manufacturer and supplier of cell culture media, sera and other reagents to academic researchers and the biotech, cell and gene therapy and biopharma industries. In 2020, the company established its state-of-the-art, 25,000-square-foot cGMP manufacturing facility in West Sacramento, quadrupling its manufacturing capacity.
